1 cup yogurt/curd
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp black peppercorns, crushed
1 tsp ginger, grated or finely chopped
2 green/red chillies, finely chopped
1/4 tsp hing
Salt, to taste
1 sprig curry leaves, chopped
1 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
1/2 tsp baking soda

Oil, as required to deep fry
