High on the triple wins in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to start its poll preparations for the finale — the 2024 Lok Sabha election. The saffron party has organised a two-day event for its national office bearers starting on Friday, which will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Sources say the main agenda of the meeting is how sangathan or organisation should throw its might here onwards to ensure an emphatic win in next year’s election and how to do it. One of the key components will be to advertise the Modi government’s welfare projects like PM Poshan Shakti Nirman Yojana, Mahila Samman Savings Certificate, Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyaan, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi among others that have been launched since 2019. This meeting will put the thrust on taking the benefits down to the booth level, using the BJP’s organisational might.
Apart from the vice presidents, general secretaries, and secretaries, the two-day event will be attended by all BJP state presidents as well as the party’s different morchas and their deputies.
