Delhi Metro has always been in the news for bizarre reasons which have mostly to do with unruly and unusual passenger behaviour. From random public fights and cringe PDAs to dance reels and girls playing Holi, the Delhi Metro has emerged as a hotspot for all content creators. Adding to the mix, a new video has emerged online depicting a group of women dancing and singing inside the Women’s Coach of the Delhi Metro. The unexpected sight has sparked laughter and amusement on social media.
The clip begins with a group of women singing a traditional song and dancing with ghoonghat on their heads, seemingly inside the ladies’ coach. As the video moves forward, one of the women gets up and encourages other fellow passengers to join them. A user named snaxxy55 shared the hilarious video on Instagram which he captioned, “Delhi metro m apka swagat hai.”
The women’s impromptu dance moves in the video have captured the audience’s attention, prompting various reactions from the users.
A user wrote, “They are happy and not doing any vulgar dance. Let them be happy !” Another user wrote, “Ladies Sangeet Coach.” Another one commented, “Super chill vibes.” A user commented, “10000 times Better 2 rupees Cringe dance Girls.” One user wrote, “Well it’s annoying too but at least better than all the shit we have seen in the past years.”
However, one user said, “Playing songs and dancing inside Delhi metro is not allowed. Strict acting must be taken.” Another wrote, “That’s why education is necessary.”
The video has staked 5.6 million views since it was first shared online and the numbers are still increasing.
Recently, two young girls sparked outrage on social media due to their inappropriate antics inside the Delhi metro. The clip featured two girls dressed in white ensembles, seated on the metro’s floor with their faces covered in Holi colours, as the clip proceeded, the girls applied some more colour by rubbing their faces together and engaging in obscene actions like pretending to sleep on each other, and attempting to kiss, making the bystanders feel awkward.
However, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) later condemned the act and advised the passengers to not make any such videos that might cause inconvenience for other travellers.
