Veteran actor Junior Mehmood, renowned for his memorable performances in iconic films like ‘Caravan,’ ‘Haathi Mere Saathi,’ and ‘Mera Naam Joker,’ passed away after bravely battling stomach cancer. Confirming the news, his younger son Hasnain Sayyed shared the heartbreaking update, stating that Mehmood breathed his last at 2:00 am after being in critical condition for 17 days and having lost a significant amount of weight due to the illness.
Sachin Pilgaonkar, expressing his sorrow, paid homage to his childhood friend and co-actor, Junior Mehmood, through an emotional Instagram post.Sharing a heartfelt throwback picture with Jr. Mehmood, Pilgaonkar reminisced about their cherished memories, stating, “My childhood friend and co-actor, Jr. Mehmood, sadly passed away. I have so many beautiful memories with him that I will always cherish. Om shanti.”
