As soon as the clip was shared on X, the internet users filled the comments section with likes. Besides the social media buffs, the video received a thumbs-up from actor Abhishek Bachchan. Junior Bachchan commented ‘True’, after reading the post. It has amassed over 80900 views and a flurry of comments from internet users and food enthusiasts, eager to try this enormous version of the paratha.
Watch the video here:
The video starts with the preparation of an over-sized stuffed paratha. It shows a chef kneading dough to create a base for one of the largest parathas you have seen. With skilled hands, he generously fills the dough with a mashed potato stuffing. Later, the chef rolls it out to an impressive size with a giant rolling pin. The paratha is then expertly cooked on a massive tawa. What attracts the viewers here, is the way paratha is presented, after preparation. The chef cuts the paratha in a triangular shape, which resembles pizza. The mouth-watering paratha is served with curd and various dips (chutney).
Recently, Anand Mahindra dropped another food related video on X. The clip demonstrates the making of a Tornado omelette. It is a Korean delicacy that is often served with plain rice. Impressed by its preparation, Anand Mahindra claimed that this dish is the latest addition to his collection of recipes for breakfast and brunch. He found it so simple that he was straight away “heading to the kitchen”.
Sharing the video, Anand Mahindra wrote, “Say hello to the ‘Tornado Omelette.’ My skills as a Chef are limited to breakfast & brunch fare. But this is going to add significantly to my repertoire… Brilliant. And so simple. I’m heading to the kitchen… Wait…where are the chopsticks?”
